Vanessa Braxton and IKEA teams up for Black Momma Tea Café Business Services & Space Planning.

Long Island, NY – On January 22nd, Vanessa Braxton, CEO & President of  Black Momma Tea and Café, teamed up with IKEA Business Furnishing Consultant Roslyn Yudenfriend, from the Long Island, Hicksville location to plan a beautiful and functional space for the Black Momma Tea & Café flagship stores in Long Island. IKEA business services feels the need to team up with growing and expansive businesses within the community. IKEA wants to be involved from the very beginning. What we design will become a standard for all Black Momma Tea & Café Corporate and Franchised stores. This will be a “Million Dollar collaborative campaign in the future for IKEA and Black Momma Tea & Cafe” (Vanessa Braxton). We provide them with the measurements of the space and IKEA will assist in choosing the furnishing and preparing a complete list of everything needed with up-to-date stock information.  In addition, Black Momma Tea & Cafe’s and  IKEA Business will collaborate on future media & advertising campaigns.

IKEA, a privately held company, is a Swedish-founded multinational group, headquartered in the Netherlands, that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories. It has been the world’s largest furniture retailer since at least 2008. IKEA is now venturing into providing services to growing businesses.

In February 2013, Mrs. Braxton launched Black Momma Vodka. Vanessa Braxton became the first African-American woman to be an owner-operator of a nationally distributed vodka in the U.S. Since then, the company has grown to include Black Momma Mixers, Black Momma Teas, and Black Momma Flavored Agave. In addition, Mrs. Braxton owns the only African American woman owned manufacturing facility, Manufacturing Tea Bags, Beverages, Syrups and consumable products which fall within the scope of Organic, Non-Gmo, Vegan, Gluten-free and Kosher certified. Now with the expansion to Black Momma Teas and Café, Vanessa Braxton is building the flagship stores in Long Island, to service the Black Momma Brands existing customer base.
